Shem Creek in all of its glory is one of the more popular areas of Mount Pleasant. It has several places to stay for the Vacationer and Restaurants to enjoy. Its also a huge favorite of the locals. I personally go there often. Many boaters dock right at the restaurants to get a bite to eat and have a beverage. If you are looking for Fine dining WatersEdge is the place you may dine inside but get a table on the creek. You can also eat outside or enjoy the bar outside. I have go here alot and always enjoy it. Vickerys a little further down has a great casual atmosphere with spectacular views. Reds Bar on the other side of the creek is a great bar and restaurant for about anything. Go ahead and bring your dog everyone does. Good place to have a casual meal and watch a game. I again come here often. RBs Restaurant is next to Reds again with creekside dining and plenty of good times. The Shem Creek area of Mount Pleasant is one of the best places to hang out with friends you can't help but have a great time.
